St. Francis Church

We are a warm, welcoming, all age congregation with an active lay membership, people who use their gifts and talents to participate in all aspects of Church life. The church building is extremely well maintained and lovingly cared for by a group of volunteers who give their time regularly and tirelessly.

Altar

Style of Worship has Anglo-Catholic influences although the Church is open to other styles and is modern and forward thinking in its outlook. We do have one lay-led service once a month. We have varied music styles – the traditional organ and a music group with instruments.

Building

St. Francis and St. Aldhelms

St Francis Church is a bright, modern building which is in the heart of the Community situated in the extremely popular area of North Street, Bedminster. The present Church was consecrated in 1953, the original church having been destroyed in the air raid of Good Friday 1941. We also have a newly refurbished Church Hall (find out more about the centre and bookings here).
